These pregnancies can have a slightly greater chance of the general complications that occur in every pregnancy, as well as specific risks.

This section reviews a number of complications that can occur in multiple pregnancy, and in a women who is over 35 years of age. For every pregnancy, it is wise to be fully informed of the possible complications that may arise and how these may be recognised. Speak to your GP or midwife to discuss any concerns you may have.
